Although creating space for conversation is key, therapy is not simply about talking through problems. Rather, it is about understanding the patterns that keep them in place and finding ways to shift them.
My approach is practical, structured, and focused on helping you make sense of what is happening, rather than remaining stuck in it.
Sessions are reflective but collaborative and active, with an emphasis on clarity, direction, and meaningful change over time.

My Approach
I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Where appropriate, I also integrate Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), particularly where past experiences continue to have an impact — including difficult or toxic environments such as workplace bullying.
I may also use clinical hypnotherapy for focused work on anxiety, habits, and emotional responses.
In addition, I draw on principles from Classical Stoicism, which align closely with modern psychological approaches and provide a practical framework for managing thoughts, emotions, and uncertainty.
Areas I work with
Imposter Syndrome & Self-Doubt
- This often involves persistent doubt about your abilities, difficulty internalising success, and a sense of being “found out”, despite evidence of competence.
Anxiety & Overthinking
- Patterns such as constant mental replay, difficulty switching off, and heightened anticipation of problems can become exhausting over time.
Workplace Stress, Burnout & Workplace Trauma
- High levels of responsibility and pressure can lead to burnout, while difficult or toxic environments may leave a longer-lasting impact on confidence, emotional regulation, and relationships.
Relationships & Interpersonal challenges
- Many people find that relationships present particular challenges, including difficulty expressing needs, managing conflict, or coping with emotional intensity.
Coaching & Professional Development
- In addition to therapy, I also work with some clients in a coaching capacity, particularly around leadership, performance, communication, confidence, and managing professional roles.
- My background in corporate environments, combined with psychological training, allows me to work in a way that is both psychologically informed and grounded in the realities of a demanding professional life.
LGBTIQ+ Clients
- I work with many LGBTIQ+ clients navigating identity, relationships, minority stress, and the complexities of professional life
